The history of the golden yellow lager dates back to 1847, when Jacob Christian Jacobsen founded the Carlsberg Bryggerier in Copenhagen. Early on, Carlsberg began to sell its excellent beer abroad as well, and today it is one of the best-known beers in the world. The light hop note and slightly tart finish are immensely refreshing. The slightly malty taste of the full-bodied beer culminates in a sparkling, wonderfully fresh finish.
